Alvarez & Marsal adds to restructuring team

Professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its Asia restructuring team with the senior appointments of Tiffany Wong and Kitty Yeung as Managing Director and Senior Director respectively in Hong Kong.Individually, Wong and Yeung bring two decades of expertise in corporate restructuring and insolvency, demonstrating A&M’s commitment to enhancing its capability in these lines of service in Asia and maximising value for clients across the region.

Wong has extensive experience in corporate insolvency and dispute resolution in Mainland China and the Hong Kong SAR. Prior to joining A&M, she was a Partner & Head of Insolvency at KPMG China. She has significant expertise in combining international restructuring regimes with local Chinese regulations and processes, and advising clients on challenging cross-border issues. Wong acts as court office holder of insolvent estates and estates of mentally incapacitated and deceased individuals. Additionally, she is a board member of INSOL International and a member of The International Insolvency Institute.

 

Yeung has in-depth knowledge of and experience advising clients on domestic and cross-border restructuring. Prior to joining A&M, Yeung was an Associate Partner at EY. She holds the distinction of being designated as a Panel A Appointment Taker and Insolvency Practitioner by the Hong Kong Official Receiver’s Office for court winding-up cases.
